2019 High Performance Battle Camp
2019 High Performance Battle Camp Recap
With tryouts for next season a few weeks away, our athletes showed up with smiles and ready to work, learn, and grow! It’s so special getting to watch the progress these girls make throughout the months and years. These three girls were fresh off an appearance at USA Hockey Nationals just a few days before!
Our incredible coaching staff brought so much knowledge, experience and passion on and off the ice! Thank you to all of our coaches: Witley Nichols, Katherine Murphy, Colleen Murphy, Jillian Dempsey, Alyssa Gagliardi.
After each on-ice session, we recognized one player as the hardest worker. These players were recognized for their effort, hustle and positivity throughout the weekend! No matter skill level or talent and ability, athletes can always control their effort.
Our off-ice mental skills workshop focused on how there’s so much within each of our athletes’ control to make little choices everyday that add up over time. These simple decision on a daily basis — what to eat, when to go to sleep, how to treat others — ultimately leads to success on and off the ice!
On Sunday, April 14th, we hosted an 11 & Under Girls Skills Clinic where we focused on skating, shooting, passing, and of course a few games all throughout! This group got to try some new skills — and have fun doing it!
Thank you to Raleigh Hockey Co. for their support on and off the ice! They provided custom stickers for each of our athletes, as well as contributed healthy snacks and drinks to keep our athletes fueled all weekend!
